Échappe-toi Laval opens its doors

October 18th, 2018 


The Échappe-toi Laval center will be officially inaugurated today, on October 18, in the presence of several dignitaries from Laval, including the mayor's representative, Sandra El Helou, councilor of the Souvenir-Labelle district, the president and CEO of Tourisme Laval, Geneviève Roy and several other leaders of Laval's business and tourism community. The new Échappe-toi Laval center, which will open its doors to the public on Saturday, October 20, is located at 1600 boul. Saint Martin East, Tower B, Laval.

Express Mondor rallies more than 200 people to support the fight against breast cancer

For the fifth year in a row, Express Mondor has brought together more than 200 people for its annual golf tournament and fundraising dinner in support of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation. On June 14, 160 people participated in the golf tournament and 200 gathered for dinner at Club de golf Berthier.

Mila masterplan to accelerate Quebec’s Artificial Intelligence development

The Strategy for the Development of Quebec’s Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem, unveiled on June 21 by the Deputy Premier and Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation, Dominique Anglade, confirms the will to accelerate Mila’s growth and strengthen its role as a catalyst for the development of Quebec’s artificial intelligence ecosystem. More specifically, this commitment will result in the Quebec government allocating financing up to $80M over the next five years, as proposed by the Artificial Intelligence Steering Committee in its report submitted on May 27.

Green Joy Production will build its new medical cannabis production centre in L’Ange-Gardien

Green Joy Production (“Green Joy”) will begin construction and development of its new medical cannabis production facility at its industrial site located in L’Ange-Gardien in the Outaouais region. This decision, which follows Health Canada's confirmation that Green Joy has successfully completed the security clearance phase, will allow the company to become a licensed producer of medical cannabis in accordance with the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR).
